Data We Collect

Fawnwell collects no personal information. Your health records, profiles, photos, and audio live entirely on your device (local database and file system) — there are no developer servers and nothing for us to read. The app includes no analytics, advertising, or tracking SDKs.

Permissions & network: camera, microphone, and speech-recognition permission are requested only when you use those features; photos are added via the system picker (no library permission needed); HealthKit data is read only when you import it. Optional iCloud sync (Pro) moves data between your devices through your own iCloud account — we have no access. Voice notes use on-device recognition wherever the device supports it. AI journal narration (Pro, optional) is generated by the on-device model built into iOS and is never sent to us. Backup compression uses the open-source, on-device ZIPFoundation library — no network involved.

How We Use Information

Any information described above is used only to keep the app working properly, respond to your support requests, troubleshoot and fix issues, and improve the product. We never use it for any other purpose, never for advertising or profiling, and we never sell it to anyone.

Data Storage & Security

Fawnwell is designed around data minimisation: your data stays on your device by default (or syncs, at your option, to a cloud account you control), and our servers do not store your data. We take reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect information received through support channels from unauthorised access — though no system can promise absolute security.

Third-Party Services

This app integrates no third-party analytics, advertising, or tracking SDKs. We never collect or store your payment details — purchases are processed by Apple.

Retention & Deletion of Support Inquiries

When you contact us by email or similar means, we receive the information you provide (such as your email address and a description of the issue). We keep it only as long as needed to handle your request; you may ask us to delete it at any time.

Your Rights

Under applicable laws and regulations (including the Personal Information Protection Law of the People's Republic of China), you have the following rights:

• Access & correction — view and edit your content and settings in the app at any time;
• Deletion — deleting the app deletes local data; if you enabled cloud sync, you can also delete it in the corresponding cloud service;
• Withdrawing consent — you can revoke permissions anytime in system settings; revocation does not affect data already stored locally;
• Account deletion — not applicable: the app requires no account.

Protection of Minors

Fawnwell is a general-audience app. We never knowingly collect personal information or market to minors. Under the Personal Information Protection Law of the People's Republic of China (PIPL), personal information of minors under 14 is sensitive personal information and may only be processed with a guardian's consent. If you are under 14, please read this policy with a guardian and use the app only with their consent. If we learn that we have collected personal information from a minor under 14 without guardian consent, we will delete it as soon as possible.

Updates to This Policy

This policy may change as the app evolves. Material changes will be announced in the app or on this page with a new effective date. Continued use means you accept the updated policy.

Governing Law

This policy is governed by the laws of the People's Republic of China and applies to all supported platform versions of Fawnwell.
